NGO ‘Amurt Ukraine’. AMURT (Ananda Marga Universal Relief Team)
NGO “AMURT Ukraine” is an affiliate of the international non-governmental charitable organisation AMURT, which was founded in 1965. AMURT is officially recognised by the United Nations as a non-governmental charitable organisation. The organisation operates in 34 countries. It seeks ways to solve problems at the local level, understanding that there are no ready-made methods. Each situation is unique and requires a specific approach that depends on the specific circumstances.
In Ukraine!
The activities of AMURT Ukraine are managed by a supervisory board. Operational management of the organisation is entrusted to the director, who acts in accordance with the decisions of the supervisory board and has the authority to engage contractors to implement project activities, including on a voluntary basis.
AMURT Ukraine operates in various cities, helping victims of military action by providing hot meals, food packages, medicines, clothing, and assistance to animal shelters.
It also creates conditions for the rehabilitation and recreation of refugees and military personnel who are recovering.
